Blessed are the meek

Blessed are all who put their trust in Him.

"He who overcomes and keeps my works to the end, I will give power over the nations and He shall rule them with a rod of iron…Even as I received from My Father." Revelation 2:26

We are to share with Him in His inheritance.

We are His co-heirs, and we are sons of God as He is. In resurrection, we will be conformed to His image and made like Him.

Christ the Shepherd of the Sheep and the Captain of our salvation to bring many sons to glory and to bring present us to the Father in His likeness.

Christ as a member of a Godhead. This is our King.  He is God, and yet He “has a God.”   That is a plurality. He is the Son of God, and the Son of man, and yet as the Son of Man. He has been glorified to be the Son of God, not only in His divinity but in His humanity.

He is a MAN

In the beginning, He laid the foundation of the earth.  And now the Father says, “sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

The unique spin on all of this in Hebrews 1 is that He is a MAN!  It talks about Him in His Humanity – identifying this Human Being, Jesus Christ, as the very God who created the universe!

He pre-exists His incarnation. He condescended to become a man and partook of weakness, meekness, kindness, softness, compassion, and mercy.  He showed us what God looks like when He lives in the midst of all of this!  His power, glory, and majesty. In His humanity, His meekness, tenderness, mercy, and compassion were put on display.

We could not be like Him, so He had to become like us. It is beautiful!
