Praise The Lord. Praise the greatness of Christ and His grace, His Person, and His work. He needs to be magnified. To shine a light on everything the Word reveals about who He is so that you would see first-hand from the power of the Word the virtues and Excellency of Christ.
"That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;" Philippians 1:10
The Word is powerful
Lift Him up from the scriptures and show how marvelous He is. We can’t do that; all we can do is open the Word. The Word does this! The Word cuts through everything and gives us a Vision.
That power is according to the power which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and fixed Him at His right hand. That is a vision in itself!
The Last Adam
He is the Heir of all things. He created the worlds. He upholds everything. He is the Radiance of God’s glory, and in Him is the Life which is the Light of man. God speaks in Christ and shines in Christ, and He is the Impress of God’s Substance.
In His Incarnation, He became the Son of Man, Representative Man, the rightful Heir of the birthright and the blessing that Adam had forfeited. And it was this One that exalted in resurrection after accomplishing redemption to bring His humanity to the throne of God, having inherited the more excellent Name than that of the angels!
His humanity has been uplifted and divinized, deified, and glorified so that He (in His humanity as the Son of Man) enjoys the status that He enjoyed in His divinity as the Son of God, The “Last Adam”.
"And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." 1 Corinthians 15:45
