From Romans 1:17 until now, there’s talk about the wrath of God revealed from heaven. Now we are back to a focus on the Gospel. Right before the long section, we’ve been covering, in Romans:
Romans 1:16 Paul said:
“I’m not ashamed of the Gospel of God, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also the Greek. For in it the Righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, the just shall live by faith.”
Thank the Lord, now he comes back to the Gospel.
The Gospel reveals the righteousness of God. This is the Gospel concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, “who was born the Seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God in resurrection with power by the spirit of Holiness.
"And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead." Rom 1:4
This Son of God is the revelation and the manifestation of the Righteousness of God:
"But now the Righteousness of God without the Law is manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the prophets". Rom 3:21-31
