The writer of Hebrews confirms that Christ has taken the entire responsibility for the Christian life as the High Priest according to the Order of Melchizidek, ministering Himself to us with bread and wine. He is the captain of our salvation, the author and finisher of our faith, the apostle and High priest of our profession, and He is bringing us into glory. Today as our high priest in the holiest, He has given Himself to us and ministers Himself to us to become our rest and our satisfaction as a forestaste of our inheritance . Hebrews urges us to come near to Him TODAY and enjoy Him! He is our Shepherd and our pasture and He wants us to rest in Him!
