Patrick L’s Synopsis of His video, “How to Recognize a Gnostic Grace Gospel”
“Synopsis: How to discern an INCOMPLETE, false, gnostic gospel of head knowing (Grace Gnosticism) from an authentic Grace Gospel message. I recall a dream I had which I made my very first YouTube video about and how it relates to the venomous backlash over “fruits” and being born-again indicative of a true salvation experience of a changed life, heart, mind and soul. Any expression about grace (patrology / oeuvre) that falls short of this inner life transformation is an incomplete gospel though all the doctrines can be understood, yet preached in head-knowledge alone that denies the power thereof, leaving it out in a liberal-minded, pharisaical, dry, stale, lifeless, unchanged, carnal proclamation of so-called “faith” — the bi-polar opposite of stringent works-salvation belief; a subtle, Crowley-esque “do as thou will” interpretation of grace phariseeism void of The Holy Spirit except in theory yet yielding a dead faith–not based on self-righteous works but “un-works” where nothing more whatsoever is seen or discernible as indication that one is saved, speaking ABOUT grace but not IN grace (“in Christ” and “Christ in you, the hope of glory”) as having entered the heart and soul, who is JESUS. A PERSON. Jesus HIMSELF is grace, not just a doctrine. We must go to HIM to be saved, not our minds and thoughts alone. This is not word-play or adding to the gospel–this IS the gospel. A changed head (thoughts) is not in itself an indication of a changed heart when it’s plain it’s been been ripped out of the salvation experience through gnostic bewitchery.“
My note: These are nothing less than slanderous blasphemies against the gospel of Grace and calvinistic backloading of works with a “Changed life” gospel that is not a gospel at all.
The Problem with this is not the video itself. It is the fact that the Grace “‘community” is hypocritically calling me to “humble myself” and accusing me for sowing division by making law/grace distinctions and calling people out when they run in this way. Below just a couple of comments of folks that are received and endorsed by the grace community. This is nothing but a lynch mob that has doubled down again and again until they’re ready to reject the gospel of grace (showing they don’t truly understand it) in order to prove that I’m “antinomian” or a “gnostic” or a “Cult leader” or a “false teacher” and the grace community is demanding that I keep some kind of unity with them!
These kinds of comments have been going on on walls for MONTHS since this whole thing started in February. You won’t find me going wall to wall making accusations about people’s character, but you will find my teachings addressing truth. Incidentally, I never said we can’t love God, I said that we are lying if we say we love Him with our whole heart, mind soul and strength according to the standard of the law, nor are we under obligation to do so in grace. What we have as the New Commandment is “believe in the name of Jesus Christ and love one another.” Faith in Christ is our substitute for everything that was demanded by law, because He is our righteousness. To say that God requires that we love Him with our whole heart, mind , strength and soul is to put us under the law, because that command is “the sum of the law” and the “Greatest commandment.” It is to obligate oneself to law righteousness. They know that this is not what I teach, but deliberately mischaracterize it just as the lordshippers did.
The calls for “unity” and “staying away from drama” and “humility” among the grace channels that continue to ignore what is going on and continue to endorse people who are doubling down in what is obviously a mischaracterization of my teaching AND an attack on the gospel is disgusting hypocracy. Don’t tell me you care about babes in Christ if you’re locking them in this “dome of ambiguity” and demanding that we get along with people who are simply opposed to truth and offended by those who teach it (if it contradicts or exposes them in any way).
